Precautions for ethylene oxide sterilization

1、 Operate in strict accordance with the confirmed sterilization process and keep complete records to ensure the sterilization effect of the product. 

2、 Strictly distinguish sterilized products from non sterilized products, and do not mix them up. 

3、 No fireworks are allowed in the operation area. The electrical switch must be explosion-proof, and the lamp must be explosion-proof. 

4、 In case of leakage of ethylene oxide, measures must be taken immediately to spray water. In case of poisoning, it must be sent away from the site immediately. In case of serious poisoning, it shall be sent to the hospital immediately for rescue. If the EO enters the eye or the skin, it should be

washed with water immediately. 

5、 During the operation, pay close attention to the temperature and pressure changes of the box, and adjust according to the changes. 

6、 Special personnel must be assigned to pay close attention to the change of pressure in the process of vacuum pumping, dosing, air exchange and other operations that have a great impact on pressure. In case of any abnormality, report to relevant departments immediately.

7、 When loading and unloading products, handle them with care. Rough loading and unloading (especially syringe products) is strictly prohibited. 

8、 Clean and maintain the sterilization cabinet regularly to reduce the pollution of the cabinet to the product packaging.

9、 Maintain the sterilization cabinet regularly, check it at any time, and discover all kinds of potential safety hazards in time.
10、 In case of equipment failure, it shall be reported to the equipment department for maintenance and repair, and operation with defects is strictly prohibited. 

11、 It is strictly prohibited for miscellaneous personnel to enter the sterilization room.
